Weekend Colour Palette: Blue

I spend a lot of my life on public transport; commuting to and from work and also to meet up with my boyfriend. I suppose that sounds a little depressing however, as I don't have a car, it is the cheapest form of transportation. The blue seats on the bus are so familiar to me.

I must admit, there are moments when I find Sydney to be quite dull; the urban sprawl and the rat race starts to feel a little claustrophobic. However, the weekend is the time when I reconnect, see and appreciate the beauty in this wonderful city.

It is funny how things that were once so important and dear to me now have such a small presence in my life. Did you know that a few years ago I was seriously contemplating a move overseas for a working holiday visa? I am glad that I didn't go through with it as I was considering it for all the wrong reasons. Although I do wonder how my life would have panned out if I did take that path. Should've, would've, could've.

When I scattered my mother's ashes, I had to suppress my laughter. It was strange to realise that a whole human being could simply be reduced to so little. On another note, I sometimes wonder if I should have invested in cemetery plots as they can be quite profitable.

Last weekend's colour for the Weekend Colour Palette was BLUE. This was a lot easier than pink;  I knew that if I was really struggling, I could simply take photos of the sky.

If you would like to join next weekend's challenge, head to Beside the Danube for the next colour. The Girl in the Blue Jacket and Brunch at Audrey's also participated in last week's colour.
